The Beauty of Oetune Beach: A Story Behind
Visiting East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is not complete without seeing its wonderful beaches. Just like Bali, this place also has a ton of beauty.
Throwing back to my first experience of visiting NTT, I was amazed by the captivating Oetune Beach. Located in Oebelo, Amanuban Selatan, Timor Tengah Selatan, NTT, this amazing beach offers you unforgettable experiences.
The moment you step in Oetune, you’ll be welcomed with the beauty of soft-white sand that beautifully contrasts with calm and clear waters, also painted skies. Oetune beach is surrounded by 100 square meters of sand, so it seems like you are in the Middle East’s desert.
Moreover, Oetune is also surrounded by loads of old cassowary trees, making the scenery more stunning. The sound of crashing waves also makes you feel more relaxed and calm.
Another interesting thing, you will meet some kids who offer you photography services. So, don’t worry if you travel alone and wanna take some pictures. Those kids are ready to help you.
Near the beach, you also can visit the traditional house of Timor which is built of ‘gewang’ leafs. This also can be an aesthetic spot to capture your unforgettable moments.
To access Outune beach, you will be charged Rp 3.000 per pax for the entrance ticket, and an additional fee for parking Rp 5.000 for car and Rp 2.000 for ride. However, these prices can be changed during the seasons.
